Bows are one of the five weapon types that characters can use in Genshin Impact.
Among the five weapon types, bow attacks are long-ranged. It’s understandable Charged Attacks of Bow can hit enemies from far away. Fully Charged Attacks deal elemental damage based on the character’s Vision (or Elements).
This is the ultimate guide for Genshin Impact Bows. You’ll find bow attacks, characters, and tier list of this weapon. If you want to increase the attacks for Bow, there are artifacts available for boost.
Moreover, we cover the Bow’s rarity (5-star to 1 star), base ATK, secondary stat, and weapon skill for all bows in this Genshin Impact Bow guide.
Genshin Impact Bow Normal Attacks
The number of bow attacks depends on the wielding user’s rarity.
A Bow user’s Normal Attack chain consists of 5 quick mid-range attacks for 4-star characters, 6 attacks for most 5-star characters, and 4 attacks for Aloy and Gorou.
Genshin Impact Bow Charged Attacks
Bow users can hold and charge their Normal Attacks in order to infuse their element’s energy into the arrow. This allows for precise, but slow, aiming of attacks, and also vastly increases the max range and damage of the shot.
Hitting the enemy’s weak spot automatically counts as a Critical Hit. In most cases, the weak spot is the head, but some enemies like Slimes do not have a weak spot.
The charged shot seems to follow a parabolic trajectory due to the influence of gravity.

FAQs on Genshin Impact Bows
The Thundering Pulse bow is not only one of the best bows in the game, it is also the single best bow for Aloy.
It has a base attack of 46 and a 14.4% crit damage, not to mention the bow’s attack and normal attack passive bonuses are perfectly tailored to Aloy’s abilities.
With each stat dependably bolstering, some part of Aloy’s build, this would be our top recommendation when selecting a bow, so hopefully, you were able to snag one when they were featured on a previous banner this past summer.
Most of Genshin Impact’s bow users are great characters, but a few stand out among them.
Bow characters in Genshin Impact likely have the most diverse playstyle among all the weapon in the games.
An extremely ancient bow that has retained its power despite its original master being long gone.
The Stringless is a premier 4-star weapon and is the best 4-star option for many Bow characters in the game.
This weapon is suited for sub-DPS or off-field DPS characters, such as Venti and Fischl. Elemental Mastery is also an important substate when going for Elemental Reactions or Swirl comps.
Polar Star won’t be the best five-star Bow on them, but will still be extremely powerful for most players.
The scaling on their Bursts is also extremely high, making full use of that 12% Skill and Burst damage boost.
Ganyu is a powerful bow user who can decimate her foes with well-aimed charged shots, which means you’ll want to maximize her charged attack damage.
Amos’ Bow is the signature weapon for Ganyu that makes her broken. It has an ATK% sub-stat and the passive focus on increasing Normal and Charged Attack DMG by 12%.
Interestingly, players will benefit from using Amos’ Bow from a noticeable distance. The damage increases by 8% for every 0.1s that an arrow is in flight.
Amo’s Bow is a great choice for those who have a character who needs attack buffs.
Amos’ Bow is a five-star weapon that can actually be pulled at any time using the weapon banner or standard banner.
It is a bit hard to get through, as several different five-star weapons can be pulled at a time.
To get Amos’ Bow in Genshin Impact, players will need to spend Wishes on the Epitome Invocation banner that is available in the Wishes menu. As a 5 Star Bow, the chances of getting it are slim, however.
Out of all the four-star bows you can choose from, the Prototype Crescent is the best to equip Ganyu with going forward in the game. It’s also another craftable item, making it more grindable.
