Genshin Impact Electro

Electro is one of the seven Genshin Impact Elements. It’s the third element that the Traveler acquires.

This element comes with the Lighting vision

Genshin Impact Electro Elemental Resonance

If there are two Electro characters in the same team, the Elemental Resonance of two-Electro elements appears.

High Voltage: Affected by Hydro for 40% less time. Superconduct, Overloaded, and Electro-Charged have a 100% chance to generate an Electro Elemental Particle (CD: 5s).

Genshin Impact Electro Elemental Reactions

Electro has the following Elemental Reactions with the other five elements, including Cryo, Pyro, Hydro, Anemo, and Geo.

Genshin Impact Cryo

Deals AoE Cryo DMG and reduces the target’s Physical DMG Resistance by 40%.

Genshin Impact Hydro

Deals Electro DMG over time and interrupts any action. If there are nearby Wet targets, they also get the Electro-Charged elemental reaction.

Genshin Impact Pyro

Deals AoE Pyro DMG and causes an explosion.

Genshin Impact Anemo

Deals AoE Electro DMG while spreading the Electro status to nearby enemies.

Genshin Impact Geo

Creates an Electro shield.

Electro has a different status, characters, and enemies.

Genshin Impact Electro Electro Status

Electro on its own does not have any special effect, but it will allow Electro Elemental Reactions to occur.

Certain mechanics in Inazuma, such as the Lightning Strike Probe, will respond to characters or monsters affected by Electro.

Any source of Electro DMG, including Electro Crystals, will apply the Electro status. Getting struck by lightning or entering a body of water struck by lightning during a thunderstorm will also apply Electro.

Electro Status to Self

The following Talents apply the Electro status to its user and/or the active character.

Elemental Burst
Lightning Fang

Summons the Wolf Within, which deals Electro DMG to all nearby opponents. This clears all of Razor’s Electro Sigils, which will be converted into Elemental Energy for him.

The Wolf Within will fight alongside Razor for the skill’s duration.

The Wolf Within

  • Strikes alongside Razor’s normal attacks, dealing Electro DMG.
  • Raises Razor’s ATK SPD and Electro RES.
  • Causes Razor to be immune to DMG inflicted by the Electro-Charged status.
  • Disables Razor’s Charged Attacks.
  • Increases Razor’s resistance to interruption.
  • These effects end when Razor leaves the battlefield.

When Razor leaves the field, a maximum of 10 Energy will be returned to him based off the duration remaining on this skill.

Elemental Skill

Nothing to worry about. Should anyone raise a hand against her or her men, she will avenge it ten-fold with sword and thunder.

Accumulating the power of lightning, Beidou swings her blade forward fiercely, dealing Electro DMG.

Lifts her weapon up as a shield. Max DMG absorbed scales off Beidou’s Max HP.

Attacks using the energy stored within the greatsword upon release or once this ability’s duration expires, dealing Electro DMG. DMG dealt scales with the number of times Beidou is attacked in the skill’s duration. The greatest DMG Bonus will be attained once this effect is triggered twice.

The shield possesses the following properties:

Has 250% Electro DMG Absorption Efficiency.
Applies the Electro element to Beidou upon activation.

FAQs on Genshin Impact Electro Element

Raiden Shogun

While she does play most of her time on the field, she also works well off the field with an elemental burst that applies Electro and increases energy recharge. This allows her to play both roles at once, which makes her quite possibly the best Electro user in Genshin Impact.

Raiden Shogun is the strongest Electro character in the game, fulfilling a unique role in Genshin Impact’s meta. She buffs other support characters, acting as a battery, meaning her potential is uncapped. As support characters get stronger and stronger, it’s expected Raiden Shogun will too.

She’s a Catalyst wielder and the Head Librarian for the Knights of Favonius. She may have the benefit of being one of the few free characters in the game, but even with Lisa’s best character build, she’s extremely weak and squishy.

Electro-Charged is the Elemental Reaction triggered by inflicting Electro on a target that is already affected by Hydro or vice versa. This reaction deals Electro DMG over time to both the Electro-Charged target and any nearby targets that are Wet.

Among the Electro DPS characters, Raiden is the undoubtedly strongest electro DPS although her kit is not solely focused on DPS. Her elemental (electro in her case) DPS window comes with her burst where she changes her stance to use a sword instead of her polearm, but it’s short 7 seconds.

Combining Electro and Pyro damage in any order creates a large AoE explosion of Pyro damage. Combining Electro and Cryo attacks in any order deals area-of-effect Cryo damage to enemies in the area, and also reduces their physical defense by 50%.

Don’t Use Near Water.

Overload has the highest single instance of damage of any reaction but electro-charged hits twice, so it can be more powerful. This effect also arcs between all nearby wet enemies, causing additional stuns and damage.

Electro is pretty much at the top spot of the most powerful element in Genshin Impact along with Pyro though the latter can be more desirable. That’s because the combination of electricity and ice can be too much for the enemies to handle.
