Best Genshin Impact Kokomi Builds

Sangonomiya Kokomi is a great healer and a flexible unit that you can slot into any team as long as they need either a healer or a hydro sub DPS.

Building her is also really easy with her being able to function as long as you have the bare minimum for her.

Best Genshin Impact Kokomi Weapons

Kokomi’s weapons can vary especially in the case where you want more damage from her or just want her to be a pure support unit. Everlasting Moonglow is Kokomi’s best weapon, while Prototype Amber is the generalist’s choice.

Meanwhile, Tenacity of the Millelith is the one to use if you want her to be a fully supportive unit.

The main stats to look out for are HP%/Energy Recharge Sands, Hydro DMG% Goblet, and HP% Circlet.

FAQs about Genshin Impact Kokomi

Kokomi is a 5-star Hydro Catalyst user. Her Elemental skill works in the same fashion as Mona’s, and her Burst resembles Yanfei’s, or even Childe’s skill.

She scales with HP, and just like Zhongli, she can easily get to 50k without compromising any other desired status.

Are you guaranteed to get Kokomi in Genshin Impact? Not quite. You’re not guaranteed to get Kokomi, even if you pull from her Banner. Luckily, Genshin Impact does feature a Mercy system.

The age of Sangonomiya Kokomi is not obviously stated in the game.

Her birthday is on February 22nd

Kokomi is a support character before anything else, though she can fill a sub-DPS role as well. Just don’t expect fireworks.

It turns out the pre-release talent information was true after all, and one of Kokomi’s passive talents drops her critical hit rate by 100%.

While Kokomi adds to the lineup of adorable Genshin Impact characters, both Barbara and Qiqi are better at everything she is supposed to do.

Kokomi is designed to be a healer who also deals damage in Genshin Impact. You’d expect her to strictly fit into the supporter role.

Genshin Impact Kokomi’s build makes the priestess a healer and damage-dealer. Make some waves. Kokomi is back, and I’m sure you’re all as eager as I am to equip her with an Ocean-Hued Clam and watch as she transforms into a hybrid healing/damage-dealing menace.

Her Elemental Burst requires 90 Energy, sharing the highest cost in the game with Raiden Shogun. Genshin Impact’s Mona and Kokomi also benefit greatly from the high Energy Recharge of the weapon skill.

The Oathsworn Eye allows players to focus on other valuable stats rolled on their artifacts.

The special Trounce material Kokomi’s talents require is the Hellfire Butterfly. These can be obtained by defeating La Signora at her weekly boss fight, Narukami Island: Tenshukaku.

Genshin Impact is available on PC, PS4, PS5, and mobile devices, with a Nintendo Switch version in development.

While Kokomi adds to the lineup of adorable Genshin Impact characters, both Barbara and Qiqi are better at everything she is supposed to do.

Kokomi is designed to be a healer who also deals damage in Genshin Impact. You’d expect her to strictly fit into the supporter role.

Everlasting Moonglow is the best option for Kokomi. This weapon has HP% as its substat, boosts her healing bonus, and increases her normal attack damage based on her max HP.

Furthermore, Everlasting Moonglow also regenerates energy after Kokomi uses her Elemental Burst. This weapon is designed explicitly for Kokomi.

Kokomi holds the element Hydro while Ayaka uses the element Cryo. When using their elemental burst, Kokomi can walk on water while Ayaka can freeze the water or better known as “ice-bridge”.

Both of them can fit well in a freeze comp team by a lot. Ayaka can be the main DPS while Kokomi can be a healer.

One of Kokomi’s drawbacks is that her Elemental Burst requires a lot of energy to charge up. Due to this, you’ll want to have a “battery” character in Kokomi’s team: someone who can quickly accumulate energy particles to charge Burst skills.

Fischl is ideal for that role. Not only is she a great Sub-DPS who can use her Elemental Skill to set up reactions, but she’s also widely considered to be one of the best characters in the game. Fischl is also easier to build, thanks to her being a four-star character.

A solid choice for DPS, Chongyun is a great character who offers Cryo abilities and is especially fun to play. His Elemental Skill creates an area on the field in which all melee attacks become Cryo element attacks.

With this ability, you can continuously set up Freeze reactions with Chongyun and Kokomi together. If you have a Pyro user on your team as another DPS, such as Xinyan and Xiangling who were mentioned earlier, they can also help by creating Vaporize and Melt reactions.

Being a fast attacking Pyro polearm user, Xiangling is another DPS option for your Kokomi team. With her furious attacks, she can be used to deal a lot of damage very quickly. Using Kokomi’s jellyfish with Xiangling is sure to turn the battle in your favour.

Xiangling also has very a powerful Pyro Elemental Skill and Elemental Burst. Along with using Kokomi, these can help you cause Vaporize reactions, dealing even more damage.
