Collei is a 4-star character who had existed in the Genshin Impact manga two years prior and has finally debuted in the Genshin Impact game.
Collei debuts in Tighnari’s character banner, Viridescent Vigil, as well as 3.0’s event, Graven Innocence.
Before you wish on any banners for Collei in Genshin Impact 3.0, you’ll want to take a look at the new Graven Innocence event.
You can find this in the event menu, and it requires you to head to Port Ormos in the south and talk to some wood carvers who are down on their luck.
Follow the questline up until the point you meet Collei and reunite the father and his son, and you’ll get Collei as a new character for free.
Colle is only a free character until the end of the Graven Innocence event, which ends along with Genshin Impact 3.0. Plan to get her before September 27.
After that, she’ll be just another character that you can get at random from the standard banner. She will join the Wanderlust Invocation banner with Tighnari, which doesn’t make chances of getting her that high.

70% of Collei’s damage comes from her Burst, and the rest comes from her Skill. Normal attacks aren’t impressive and usually take too much time for too little damage, though this can change with hyper-specialized builds.
Normal Attack
Perform up to 4 consecutive shots with a bow.
Charged Attack
Performs a more precise Aimed Shot with increased DMG.
While aiming, Dendro energy will accumulate on the arrowhead. A fully charged arrow will deal Dendro DMG.
Plunging Attack
Fires off a shower of arrows in mid-air before falling and striking the ground, dealing AoE DMG upon impact.
Throws out a Floral Ring that deals 1 instance of Dendro DMG to targets it comes into contact with.
The Floral Ring will return after a set time, dealing Dendro DMG once again.
Trusty Cuilein-Anbar comes to save the day!
Throws the doll named Cuilein-Anbar, causing an explosion that deals AoE Dendro DMG, creating a Cuilein-Anbar Zone. Cuilein-Anbar will bounce around within this zone, dealing AoE Dendro DMG.
If one of your party members has triggered Burning, Quicken, Aggravate, Spread, Bloom, Hyperbloom, or Burgeon reactions before the Floral Ring returns, it will grant the character the Sprout effect upon return, which will continuously deal Dendro DMG equivalent to 40% of Collei’s ATK to nearby opponents for 3s.
If another Sprout effect is triggered during its initial duration, the initial effect will be removed. DMG dealt by Sprout is considered Elemental Skill DMG.
When a character within the Cuilein-Anbar Zone triggers Burning, Quicken, Aggravate, Spread, Bloom, Hyperbloom, or Burgeon reactions, the Zone’s duration will be increased by 1s.
A single Trump-Card Kitty can be extended by up to 3s.
Decreases gliding Stamina consumption for your own party members by 20%.
Not stackable with Passive Talents that provide the exact same effects.
When in the party and not on the field, Collei’s Energy Recharge is increased by 20%.
The Passive Talent Floral Sidewinder is changed to this:
The Floral Ring will grant the character the Sprout effect from Floral Sidewinder upon return, dealing 40% of Collei’s ATK as Dendro DMG to nearby opponents for 3s.
From the moment of using Floral Brush to the moment when this instance of Sprout effect ends, if any of your party members triggers Burning, Quicken, Aggravate, Spread, Bloom, Hyperbloom, or Burgeon reactions, the Sprout effect will be extended by 3s.
The Sprout effect can only be extended this way once. If another Sprout effect is triggered during its initial duration, the initial effect will be removed.
Requires you to have unlocked the Floral Sidewinder Passive Talent.
Increases the Level of Floral Brush by 3.
Maximum upgrade level is 15.
Using Trump-Card Kitty will increase all nearby characters’ Elemental Mastery by 60 for 12s (not including Collei herself).
Increases the Level of Trump-Card Kitty by 3.
Maximum upgrade level is 15.
When the Floral Ring hits, it will create a miniature Cuilein-Anbar that will deal 200% of Collei’s ATK as Dendro DMG.
Each Floral Brush can only create one such miniature Cuilein-Anbar.
Collei
Collei can deal with multiple explosions helping Yoimiya with its lack of AoE through Dendro reactions with Hydro & Pyro.
There are two ways to focus Collei’s equipment: The Quicken build or the Bloom build. (The Burning build works roughly equal in both sets of equipment)
Quicken – Once Collei’s Energy Recharge requirement is met, focus on ATK, Dendro DMG%, and CRIT stats. Bring one or two Electro teammates.
Bloom/Hyperbloom/Burgeon – Once Collei’s Energy Recharge requirement is met, focus on Elemental Mastery. Bring at least one Hydro teammate, then an Electro teammate for Hyperbloom or a Pyro teammate for Burgeon.
For those who only care about Collei’s personal damage, committing to Spread reactions is the most consistent way to buff her.
Collei’s best weapons usually have a Crit stat, Energy Recharge, or Elemental Mastery. All weapons will be compared to the Free-to-Play option: the Favonius Warbow, and factoring in six Spread reactions at C0.
Buff the entire team’s damage and enhances their elemental reactions. It also gives Energy Recharge, which allows Collei to use an ATK or EM Sands, and can stack buffs with 4pc Noblesse Oblige if preferred.
The percentage ranking here assumes you force Polar Star to four stacks as fast as possible. This means Collei has to be on-field for longer dealing less damage with non-ideal attacks like her Normal Attack and Charged Shot.
HP is increased by 16%. When there are opponents nearby, the DMG dealt by the wielder of this weapon is increased by 20%.
Increases Elemental Skill and Elemental Burst DMG by 48% (at Refinement 5).
CRIT Hits have a 60%-120% (depending on refinement level) chance to generate a small amount of Elemental Particles, which will regenerate 6 Energy for the character. Can only occur once every 12-6s.
Of the three artifact sets listed, two 4 piece sets will have the most long-term effectiveness: Deepwood Memories and Noblesse Oblige. This will mainly depend on whether you personally prefer Collei’s personal damage or overall team damage.
For main stats, aim for these:
Collei wields a bow with a Dendro Vision. She is the first Dendro character, even earlier than Tighnari.
Collei has a Dendro vision. For most players, she will be the first character of this element in their roster. She uses a bow as a weapon, but Collei will also receive help from a mechanical cat called Cuilein-Anbar.
Collei is a girl character from the Genshin Impact. It’s available to play since version 3.0 that is launched on August 24, 2022.
Originally a victim of Fatui human experimentation, Collei wandered the world as a vagrant until she met Amber in Mondstadt. Since then, Collei has turned her life around and currently serves as a trainee forest ranger in the Avidya Forest.
Collei seems like a girl between 15-16 years old. Her birthday is on May 8.
Collei’s first passive Talent scales off of her ATK stat, but if you’re using her for reactions at lower Constellations, Elemental Mastery is the stat to focus on when building her.
If you are looking to do damage with Collei, then any five-star weapon will be a great choice. Hunter’s Path, Skyward Harp, Aqua Simulacra, Polar Star, Amos’ Bow, and Thundering Pulse will all be fine options if you have them.
Collei is a ranger-in-training in the Avidya Forest; one of the new locations we can expect to visit in Sumeru. Like Tighnari, the head ranger, she is also a Dendro bow-user, though she’s a four-star character.
Collei is a 4-Star Dendro character who is best used in a sub DPS (damage per second) role due to her ability to cause extended AOE (area of effect) damage when certain elemental reactions are triggered when her Elemental Skill and Burst abilities are used.
Right now, Genshin Impact is free to download and play on various platforms including PC, iOS, Android, and PlayStation 4 and 5.
The cross-platform save and play is also supported.
The Nintendo Switch version is still under development with a tailer video released.
It’s not available for playing on other computer or console platforms, such as Mac, Steam, or Xbox.
