Till 2023 October, there have been two wish events to get Freminet in Genshin Impact:
1st: Gentry of Hermitage from September 5, 2023 to September 26, 2023;
2nd: Farewell of Snezhnaya from September 5, 2023 to September 26, 2023.
Normal Attack
Performs up to 4 consecutive strikes.
Charged Attack
Drains Stamina over time to perform continuous spinning attacks against all nearby opponents.
At the end of the sequence, performs a more powerful slash.
Plunging Attack
Plunges from mid-air to strike the ground below, damaging opponents along the path and dealing AoE DMG upon impact.
Performs an upward thrust that deals Cryo DMG and causes Freminet to enter Pers Timer for 10s.
While Pers Timer is active, his Elemental Skill will turn into Shattering Pressure.
Shattering Pressure
Executes different sorts of attacks based on the Pressure Level of Pers Timer, and then cancels Pers Timer.
Pers Timer
When Freminet uses Normal Attacks, he will also unleash waves of frost that deal Cryo DMG and increase Pers’s Pressure Level.
The accompanying Cryo DMG dealt this way is considered Elemental Skill DMG.
Arkhe: Pneuma
At certain intervals, after using the upward thrust, a Spiritbreath Thorn in the form of another upward thrust will be created, dealing Pneuma-aligned Cryo DMG.
Unleashes a wave of untouchable cold, dealing AoE Cryo DMG, resetting the CD of the Elemental Skill “Pressurized Floe,” and causing Freminet to enter the Subnautical Hunter mode for 10s.
While in Subnautical Hunter mode, Freminet’s resistance to interruption will increase, and his Elemental Skill “Pressurized Floe” will obtain the following buffs:
These effects will be canceled when Freminet leaves the field.
When Freminet unleashes Pressurized Floe: Shattering Pressure, if Pers Timer has yet to reach Pressure Level 4, the CD of Pressurized Floe will be decreased by 1s.
When Freminet triggers Shatter against opponents, the DMG dealt by Pressurized Floe: Shattering Pressure will be increased by 40% for 5s.
Decreases Aquatic Stamina consumption for your own party members by 35%.
Not stackable with Passive Talents that provide the exact same effects.
The CRIT Rate of Pressurized Floe: Shattering Pressure will be increased by 15%.
Unleashing Pressurized Floe: Shattering Pressure will restore 2 Energy to Freminet. If a Pressure Level 4 Shattering Pressure is unleashed, this will restore 3 Energy.
Increases the Level of Normal Attack: Flowing Eddies by 3.
Maximum upgrade level is 15.
After Freminet triggers Frozen, Shatter, or Superconduct against opponents, his ATK will be increased by 9% for 6s. Max 2 stacks. This can be triggered once every 0.3s.

After Freminet triggers Frozen, Shatter, or Superconduct against opponents, his CRIT DMG will be increased by 12% for 6s. Max 3 stacks. This can be triggered once every 0.3s.
Layla is a support character, so she can fit almost any team composition that benefits from a shielding support and a cryo enabler. That being said, she can also be played purely as an enabler.
She’s the kind of character that can do most of the things you want her to, except main DPSing unless, of course, you create a team that centers around only just that.
Just like what’s said above, Layla is super flexible with a lot of characters that can benefit from her Cryo applications such as Klee and Yoimiya for their melt reactions. She can also be a really effective partner for basically any DPS that needs Cryo in their lives for their elemental reactions.
Freminet
Freminet is the main DPS in this team which benefits from the buffs provided by Mika.
The best weapon for Layla should be either The Key of Khaj-Nisut, which increases her HP and Elemental Mastery, or Primordial Jade-Cutter, which increases HP and ATK%.
There are a few other swords good for Layla as well.
For example, the 3-star Harbinger of Dawn, which can perform as above 5-star options in damage output if you can keep Layla’s HP above 90%.
Base ATK 741 | Physical DMG Bonus 4.5% (20.7%)
Rebel’s Banner-Hymn
A part of the “Millennial Movement” that wanders amidst the winds.
Increases ATK by 16~32%, and when Normal or Charged Attacks hit opponents, the character gains a Sigil of Whispers. This effect can be triggered once every 0.3s.
When you possess four Sigils of Whispers, all of them will be consumed and all nearby party members will obtain the “Millennial Movement: Banner-Hymn” effect for 12s.
“Millennial Movement:
Banner-Hymn” increases Normal ATK SPD by 12~24% and increases ATK by 20~40%. Once this effect is triggered, you will not gain Sigils of Whispers for 20s.
Of the many effects of the “Millennial Movement”, buffs of the same type will not stack.
Base ATK 674 | Energy Recharge 8% (36.8%)
Sky-ripping Dragon Spine
Increases all DMG by 8~16%. After using an Elemental Burst, Normal or Charged Attack, on hit, creates a vacuum blade that does 80~160% of ATK as DMG to opponents along its path. Lasts for 20s or 8 vacuum blades.
Base ATK 510 | CRIT Rate 6%
(27.6%)
Wavesplitter
Every 4s a character is on the field, they will deal 6~10% more DMG and take 3~2% more DMG. This effect has a maximum of 5 stacks and will not be reset if the character leaves the field, but will be reduced by 1 stack when the character takes DMG.
Base ATK 565 | Physical DMG Bonus 7.5% (34.5%)
Frost Burial
Hitting an opponent with Normal and Charged Attacks has a 60~100% chance of forming and dropping an Everfrost Icicle above them, dealing AoE DMG equal to 80~140% of ATK.
Opponents affected by Cryo are instead dealt DMG equal to 200~360% of ATK. Can only occur once every 10s.
Base ATK 401 | Physical DMG Bonus 9.6% (43.9%)
Courage
On hit, Normal or Charged Attacks increase ATK by 6~10% for 6s. Max 4 stacks. Can only occur once every 0.5s.
Here we list two best artifact sets for Freminet, depending on the play pattern you prefer. If you can’t get either, then it’s recommended to mix 2pc sets between Physical DMG bonuses and ATK bonuses.
