It will also scan all Dendro Cores in its AoE and cause them to immediately burst.

Dream of the Star-Stream Shaker

Painted Dome

Elemental Burst

Completely unleashes Mehrak’s energy and creates a cubic scanned space, dealing AoE Dendro DMG to all opponents within it, causing all Dendro Cores in its AoE to immediately burst, and granting Kaveh the following enhanced combat abilities for a specific duration:

  • Increases Kaveh’s Normal, Charged, and Plunging Attack AoE, and converts his attack DMG to Dendro DMG that cannot be overridden.
  • All Dendro Cores created by all your own party members through Bloom reactions will deal additional DMG when they burst.
  • Increases Kaveh’s resistance to interruption.

These effects will be canceled once Kaveh leaves the field.

Genshin Impact Kaveh Team Combo

Kaveh works best with Nilou and other two Dendro an Hydro characters. In tottal, there are really only four possible team options for Kaveh in Genshin Impact, and most of these team options utilize the same characters.

Genshin Impact Kaveh

Kaveh

Kaveh’s uses primarily Hydro and Dendro characters to create as many Dendro cores as possible, then detonates them with Kaveh’s Skill and Burst for extra damage.

Nilou

Nilou is the best character for pure Bloom teams, hands down,, thanks to her massive buff to Dendro Core damage. However, she restricts team options to only Hydro and Dendro characters.

Yelan

Baizhu is the best defensive choice for teams focusing on Dendro-based reactions. Offers shields and plenty of healing to the party, all of which enhance reaction damage.

Raiden Shogun

Raiden Shogun is technically better with Hyperbloom than Shinobu, but building full EM on Raiden takes away her potential as a DPS, which remains attractive to many players.

Genshin Impact Kaveh Weapon

Kaveh is only building Energy Recharge and Elemental Mastery, which limits the amount of weapons that are useful for him.

However, many of these weapons are easy to obtain, since the harder-to-get weapons focus mostly on dealing heavy damage through Critical hits and ATK stats; Kaveh needs neither of those.

Skyward Pride

Skyward Pride

Base ATK 674 | Energy Recharge 8% (36.8%)

Sky-ripping Dragon Spine

Increases all DMG by 8~16%. After using an Elemental Burst, Normal or Charged Attack, on hit, creates a vacuum blade that does 80~160% of ATK as DMG to opponents along its path. Lasts for 20s or 8 vacuum blades.

Makhaira Aquamarine

Makhaira Aquamarine

Base ATK 510 | Elemental Mastery 36 (165)

Desert Pavilion

The following effect will trigger every 10s: The equipping character will gain 24~48% of their Elemental Mastery as bonus ATK for 12s, with nearby party members gaining 30% of this buff for the same duration. Multiple instances of this weapon can allow this buff to stack. This effect will still trigger even if the character is not on the field.

Mailed Flower

Mailed Flower

Base ATK 565 | Elemental Mastery 24 (110)

Whispers of Wind and Flower

Within 8s after the character’s Elemental Skill hits an opponent or the character triggers an Elemental Reaction, their ATK and Elemental Mastery will be increased by 12~24% and 48~96 respectively.

Favonius Greatsword

Favonius Greatsword

Base ATK 454 | Energy Recharge 13.3% (61.3%)

Windfall

CRIT hits have a 60~100% chance to generate a small amount of Elemental Particles, which will regenerate 6 Energy for the character. Can only occur once every 12~6s.

Genshin Impact Claymore - Katsuragikiri Nagamasa

Katsuragikiri Nagamasa

Base ATK 454 | Energy Recharge 10.0% (45.9%)

Samurai Conduct

Increases Elemental Skill DMG by 6~12%. After Elemental Skill hits an opponent, the character loses 3 Energy but regenerates 3~5 Energy every 2s for the next 6s. This effect can occur once every 10s. Can be triggered even when the character is not on the field.

Forest Regalia

Forest Regalia

Base ATK 565 | Energy Recharge 6.7% (30.6%)

Forest Sanctuary
After triggering Burning, Quicken, Aggravate, Spread, Bloom, Hyperbloom, or Burgeon, a Leaf of Consciousness will be created around the character for a maximum of 10s. When picked up, the Leaf will grant the character 60~120 Elemental Mastery for 12s.

Only 1 Leaf can be generated this way every 20s. This effect can still be triggered if the character is not on the field. The Leaf of Consciousness’ effect cannot stack.

Genshin Impact Kaveh Artifact Sets

Kaveh is only building Energy Recharge and Elemental Mastery, which makes choosing the main stats on his artifact pieces quite simple:

  • Sands: Elemental Mastery or Energy Recharge
    • If your weapon gives mostly Energy Recharge, choose an EM Sands.
    • If your weapon gives mostly Elemental Mastery, choose an ER sands.
  • Goblet: Elemental Mastery
  • Circlet: Elemental Mastery, CRIT Rate if absolutely necessary for Favonius, but not recommended.

That aside, Kaveh has a number of support options for artifacts.

Deepwood set

Deepwood

  •  2-piece effect: Elemental Mastery +80.
  • 4-piece effect: When an Elemental Skill hits an opponent, the ATK of all nearby party members is increased by 20% and their Shield Strength is increased by 30% for 3s. This effect can be triggered once every 0.5s. This effect can still be triggered even when the character who is using this artifact set is not on the field.
Ocean-Hued Clam

Ocean-Hued Clam

  •  2-piece effect: Healing Bonus +15%.
  • 4-piece effect: Every 3.5 seconds, the equipped character will deal damage to surrounding enemies equal to 90% of the healing accumulated in that time.
Flower of Paradise Lost

Flower of Paradise Lost

  •  2-piece effect: Elemental Mastery +80.
  • 4-piece effect: Each Bloom, Hyperbloom, and Burgeon increases those reactions damage when the equipped character triggers those reactions.
