Normal Attack
Performs up to 3 consecutive sword strikes.
Charged Attack
Consumes a certain amount of Stamina to perform a twirling slash.
Plunging Attack
Plunges from mid-air to strike the ground below, damaging opponents along the path and dealing AoE DMG upon impact.
Nilou will enter the Pirouette state, dealing Hydro DMG to nearby opponents based on her Max HP. While she is in the Pirouette state, Nilou’s Normal Attacks and Elemental Attacks will cause her to enter the Sword Dance and Whirling Steps stances respectively, causing DMG she deals to be converted to Hydro DMG that cannot be overridden and that is considered Elemental Skill DMG. In these stances, Nilou’s third dance step will end Pirouette, and has the following effects:
Nilou is unable to perform Charged Attacks when under the effect of Pirouette or Lunar Prayer. These effects will be removed once she leaves the field.
Begins the dance of faraway dreams and springs that hear, causing a Lotus of Distant Waters to bloom, dealing AoE Hydro DMG based on Nilou’s Max HP and applying the Lingering Aeon effect to all opponents hit. After an interval, opponents affected by Lingering Aeon will take Hydro DMG.
When all characters in the party are all Dendro or Hydro, and there are at least one Dendro character and one Hydro character:
The completion of the third dance step of Nilou’s Dance of Haftkarsvar will grant all nearby characters the Golden Chalice’s Bounty for 30s.
Characters under the effect of Golden Chalice’s Bounty will increase the Elemental Mastery of all nearby characters by 100 for 10s whenever they are hit by Dendro attacks. Also, triggering the Bloom reaction will create Bountiful Cores instead of Dendro Cores.
Such Cores will burst very quickly after being created, and they have larger AoEs.
Bountiful Cores cannot trigger Hyperbloom or Burgeon, and they share an upper numerical limit with Dendro Cores. Bountiful Core DMG has considered DMG dealt by Dendro Cores produced by Bloom.
Should the party not meet the conditions for this Passive Talent, any existing Golden Chalice’s Bounty effects will be canceled.
Characters affected by the Prayer of the Crimson Crown caused by Sacred Rite: Wagtail’s Tide will deal 0.5% increased DMG to opponents for every 1,000 points of Candace’s Max HP when they deal Elemental DMG with their Normal Attacks.
When Perfect Cooking is achieved on Food with Adventure-related effects, there is a 12% chance to obtain double the product.
Dance of Haftkarsvar will be enhanced as follows:Luminous Illusion DMG is increased by 65%.
The Tranquility Aura’s duration is extended by 6s.
After characters affected by the Golden Chalice’s Bounty deal Hydro DMG to an opponent, that opponent’s Hydro RES will be decreased by 35% for 10s. After a triggered Bloom reaction deals DMG to opponents, their Dendro RES will be decreased by 35% for 10s.
You need to have unlocked the “Court of Dancing Petals” Talent.
Increases the Level of Dance of Abzendegi: Distant Dreams, Listening Spring by 3.
Maximum upgrade level is 15.
After the third dance step of Dance of Haftkarsvar’s Pirouette hits opponents, Nilou will gain 15 Elemental Energy, and DMG from her Dance of Abzendegi: Distant Dreams, Listening Spring will be increased by 50% for 8s.
Increases the Level of Dance of Haftkarsvar by 3.
Maximum upgrade level is 15.
For every 1,000 points of Max HP, Nilou’s CRIT Rate and CRIT DMG will increase by 0.6% and 1.2% respectively.
The maximum increase in CRIT Rate and CRIT DMG via this method is 30% and 60% respectively.
Building a team for Candace will mostly depend on how you utilize her support capabilities. Here are the best team compo for Genshin Impact Candace.
Nilou
Nilou will be the enabler in this team, focusing on spreading Hydro on-field to trigger multiple instances of Bloom.
There are two ways to focus Nilou’s equipment: Bursting every rotation and Bursting every other rotation.
Often, the ideal weapons and artifacts will also change depending on whether Nilou will be taking Sword Stance or Ring Stance more often.
Luckily, the weapon selection is largely the same regardless of which strategy you choose to play with Nilou, forgiving of a few exceptions that are especially good when Bursting every rotation.
Charting an exact weapon hierarchy with Nilou is genuinely close to impossible, as different weapons get better or worse depending on how many Bloom reactions Nilou owns in a rotation.

Whisper of the Jinn
The following effect will trigger every 10s: the equipping character will gain 0.072% Energy Recharge for each point of Elemental Mastery they possess for 12s, with nearby party members gaining 30% of this buff for the same duration. Multiple instances of this weapon can allow this buff to stack. This effect will still trigger even if the character is not on the field.

When you possess 2 Sigils of Rebellion, all of them will be consumed and all nearby party members will obtain “Millennial Movement: Song of Resistance” for 12s. “Millennial Movement: Song of Resistance” increases Normal, Charged and Plunging Attack DMG by 16% and increases ATK by 20%. Once this effect is triggered, you will not gain Sigils of Rebellion for 20s. Of the many effects of the “Millennial Movement,” buffs of the same type will not stack.

When picked up, the Leaf will grant the character 120 Elemental Mastery for 12s. Only 1 Leaf can be generated this way every 20s. This effect can still be triggered if the character is not on the field. The Leaf of Consciousness’ effect cannot stack.
The main stats on your artifacts should be the following:
Sands: Energy Recharge or HP
Goblet: HP
Circlet: HP
The bonuses that Nilou gets from HP for Bloom reactions outweighs the damage potential of Crit builds by a good margin. It really is safe to just dump as much HP as humanly possible into Nilou. You do not need an Energy Recharge Sands if you are not Bursting every rotation or if Nilou is equipping an Energy Recharge Weapon.
There is no special 4-piece set for Nilou, which means our main options are mixing and matching 2pc artifact sets that simply have the best substats. Decide if you are building ER for Nilou’s burst first, then prioritize HP before any other stat.
If you prefer a 4-piece set, for some reason, these are the only two options:
Gilded Dreams (in teams with two non-Hydro)
Emblem of Severed Fate (Burst Every Rotation only)
Otherwise, choose two piece sets between:
Tenacity of the Millelith (+20% HP)
Heart of Depths (+15% Hydro Damage)
Gilded Dreams (+80 Elemental Mastery)
Wanderer’s Troupe (+80 Elemental Mastery)
Emblem of Severed Fate (+20% Energy Recharge)
The difference between 2pc sets is minimal, so if you can”t get another 4pc set together, just use the artifacts with the best substats, though 4pc Noblesse Oblige is about 8-10% better than any 2pc combination one can throw together, thanks to Candace’s high Energy Recharge stat.
If you’re not focusing on raw damage, then it’s okay to opt for these 4-star artifacts, as they still provide valuable utility for the team. Instructor makes the team’s elemental reactions stronger, Exile gives energy to your team, and the 5-star Noblesse Oblige set is the trademark support set. Almost any team can benefit from a 4pc Noblesse Obliger-wielder.
