Ningguang

– Zhongli provides powerful shield and supports Ninguang’s Geo Wall.

– Bennett boost Ningguang’s DMG and will also heal her.

– Xingqiu works well with Ningguang since Ningguang uses Normal Attacks alot.

Best Ningguang Builds in Genshin Impact

Ningguang sets herself apart as the only Geo catalyst user to date. Even though she doesn’t trigger elemental reactions that deal additional damage like Vaporize or Melt, she overcompensates it with the amount of burst damage she can do.

Best Weapons for Ningguang in Genshin Impact

Since Ningguang would be doing quite a bit of normal attacks, weapons like Solar Pearl and Dodoco Tales are really good for her.

Memory of Dust and Lost Prayer to the Sacred Winds are going to be your best in slots as these provide much more than just an attack damage bonus.

Memory of Dust

Memory of Dust

Increases Shield Strength by 20%. Scoring hits on opponents increases ATK by 4% for 8s. Max 5 stacks. Can only occur once every 0.3s. While protected by a shield, this ATK increase effect is increased by 100%.

Lost Prayer to The Sacred Winds

Lost Prayer to the Sacred Winds

Increases Movement SPD by 10%. When in battle, gain an 8% Elemental DMG Bonus every 4s. Max 4 stacks. Lasts until the character falls or leaves combat.

Solar Pearl

Solar Pearl

Normal Attack hits increase Elemental Skill and Elemental Burst DMG by 20% for 6s. Likewise, Elemental Skill or Elemental Burst hits increase Normal Attack DMG by 20% for 6s.

Dodoco Tales

Dodoco Tales

Normal Attack hits on opponents increase Charged Attack DMG by 16% for 6s.

Charged Attack hits on opponents increase ATK by 8% for 6s.

Best Artifacts for Ningguang in Genshin Impact

There are two combinations of Ningguang’s artifact sets. These can either be 2-piece Archaic Petra and 2 piece Noblesse Oblige, or 2 piece Archaic Petra and 2 piece Gladiator’s Finale. Go for the 2 piece Noblesse Oblige if you want your elemental burst to deal more damage. The generalist should go with the 2 piece Gladiator’s Finale.

Main stats to look out for are ATK Sands, Geo DMG% Goblet, Crit Rate/Crit Damage Circlet depending on your Crit Rate.

Archaic Petra

Archaic Petra

  • 2-piece effect: Geo DMG Bonus +15%
  • 4-piece effect: Upon obtaining an Elemental Shard created through a Crystallize Reaction, all party members gain 35% DMG Bonus for that particular element for 10s. Only one form of Elemental DMG Bonus can be gained in this manner at any one time.
Noblesse Oblige

Noblesse Oblige

  • 2-piece effect: Elemental Burst DMG +20%
  • 4-piece effect: Using an Elemental Burst increases all party members’ ATK by 20% for 12s. This effect cannot stack.
Gladiator's Finale

Gladiator's Finale

  • 2-piece effect: ATK +18%.
  • 4-piece effect: If the wielder of this artifact set uses a Sword, Claymore or Polearm, increases their Normal Attack DMG by 35%.

FAQs about Genshin Impact Ningguang

Ningguang is an amazing DPS that deals constant Geo DMG to enemies far and close. Her DMG mostly came from her powerful charged attacks. This however limits Ningguang’s movements.

Approximately 25 years old. The age of Ningguang is not obviously stated in the game. Ningguang’s birthday is on August 26th.

Ningguang is a 4-star girl character, which means she’s not the rarest character in Genshin Impact, but she’s pretty uncommon.

Memory of Dust is a perfect weapon for Ningguang if you have it. It’s one of the strongest catalysts, with a base attack of 46, and its secondary stat boosts attack even further, up to 49% at the highest tier.

C6 Ningguang is among the best sub-DPS units in Genshin Impact. Once players unleash her Elemental Burst, Ningguang will inflict great damage with her projectiles. She will then gather seven Star Jades for her next Charged attack, which will also deal massive damage.

And they mostly say the same thing: Noblesse is the best artifact for Ningguang. With Archaic Petra as the second best. Retracting Bolide as the third best.

For a pure DPS Ningguang, a combination of Nobless Oblige and Archaic Petra is the most ideal artifact build, boosting both her Geo DMG and Elemental Burst DMG.

A four-piece build of either set can also work well, with Noblesse being more suited for a support role while Petra is better for DPS.

Beiguang is the femslash ship between Beidou and Ningguang from the Genshin Impact fandom.

In Genshin Impact, Ningguang works best as a main DPS character. Our guide outlines the best weapons and artifacts for the four-star geo character and also provides details on every item you need to reach ascension level six.

Noelle heals a crap ton and sometimes breaks those shields if you can get her Ult up consistently she’ll do great.

Ning just breaks those shields. If you build her, even if you don’t cap her out, she’ll be very useful in some domains, and generally use very frequently.

Xingqiu is a great choice if you’re planning on creating some other reactions in your team. He provides support to your team particularly when he’s not on the field, because his Elemental Skill and Elemental Burst stay active even when you switch him out with another character. If you equip him with a Sacrificial Sword, he can also generate massive amounts of Energy Particles for your team.

One of your options for a team with Ningguang would be Bennett, who also shines thanks to his multiple capabilities. Bennett is a great Sub-DPS who can deal damage when you’re letting Ningguang take a breather, but his Elemental Burst also lets him provide support when inactive.

Bennett’s Elemental Burst creates a circular area on the ground that does multiple things. It heals the characters standing in it, and if they’re already healed, then it provides them with an attack boost. This can be great with a heavy hitter like Ningguang, allowing you to increase your damage output.

Ningguang’s passive talents will highlight and increase Zhongli’s Geo damage in battle. They, too, create a Geo resonance, as well, overall making them a solid pairing with Zhongli either as the main DPS or as a support DPS in your setup.
