Genshin Impact Aloy Talents (Skills)

Rapid Fire

Rapid Fire

Normal Attack

Normal Attack

Perform up to 4 consecutive shots with a bow.

Charged Attack

Perform a more precise Aimed Shot with increased DMG.

While aiming, biting frost will accumulate on the arrowhead. A fully charged frost arrow will deal Cryo DMG.

Plunging Attack

Fires off a shower of arrows in mid-air before falling and striking the ground, dealing AoE DMG upon impact.

Frozen Wilds

Frozen Wilds

Elemental Skill

Aloy throws a Freeze Bomb in the targeted direction that explodes on impact, dealing Cryo DMG. After it explodes, the Freeze Bomb will split up into many Chillwater Bomblets that explode on contact with opponents or after a short delay, dealing Cryo DMG.

When a Freeze Bomb or Chillwater Bomblet hits an opponent, the opponent’s ATK is decreased and Aloy receives 1 Coil stack.

Aloy can gain up to 1 Coil stack every 0.1s.

CoilEach stack increases Aloy’s Normal Attack DMG.

When Aloy has 4 Coil stacks, all stacks of Coil are cleared. She then enters the Rushing Ice state, which further increases the DMG dealt by her Normal Attacks and converts her Normal Attack DMG to Cryo DMG.

While in the Rushing Ice state, Aloy cannot obtain new Coil stacks.

Coil effects will be cleared 30s after Aloy leaves the field.

Prophecies of Dawn

Prophecies of Dawn

Elemental Burst

Aloy throws a Power Cell filled with Cryo in the targeted direction, then detonates it with an arrow, dealing AoE Cryo DMG.

4th Ascension Passive

When Aloy is in the Rushing Ice state conferred by Frozen Wilds, her Cryo DMG Bonus increases by 3.5% every 1s. A maximum Cryo DMG Bonus increase of 35% can be gained in this way.

Utility Passive

When Aloy is in the party, animals who produce Fowl, Raw Meat, or Chilled Meat will not be startled when party members approach them.

Genshin Impact Aloy Constellations

Best Aloy Character Builds

Aloy has two roles that she can fulfill, both DPS roles. It will be completely up to you to determine which one you want to use as every party might need a different build than a general one.

Best Weapons for Aloy in Genshin Impact

These weapons are the best ones for Aloy. Polar Star and The Stringless will suit an Aloy that’s built for more of a burst DPS role.

Meanwhile, Thundering Pulse and Rust will be more suited for an Aloy built as a main DPS.

Polar Star

Polar Star

Elemental Skill and Elemental Burst DMG increased by 12%. After a Normal Attack, Charged Attack, Elemental Skill or Elemental Burst hits an opponent, 1 stack of Ashen Nightstar will be gained for 12s.

When 1/2/3/4 stacks of Ashen Nightstar are present, ATK is increased by 10/20/30/48%. The stack of Ashen Nightstar created by the Normal Attack, Charged Attack, Elemental Skill or Elemental Burst will be counted independently of the others.

The Stringless

The Stringless

Increases Elemental Skill and Elemental Burst DMG by 24%

Rust

Rust

Increases Normal Attack DMG by 40% but decreases Charged Attack DMG by 10%.

Thundering Pulse

Thundering Pulse

Increases ATK by 20% and grants the might of the Thunder Emblem. At stack levels 1/2/3, the Thunder Emblem increases Normal Attack DMG by 12/24/40%.

The character will obtain 1 stack of Thunder Emblem in each of the following scenarios: Normal Attack deals DMG (stack lasts 5s), casting Elemental Skill (stack lasts 10s); Energy is less than 100% (stack disappears when Energy is full).

Each stack’s duration is calculated independently.

Best Artifacts for Aloy in Genshin Impact

For Aloy, the Blizzard Strayer will be one of the best artifact sets you will always have. The only difference is what the other 2-piece set will be. If you’re planning on the main DPS Aloy, it’s going to be 2 piece Blizzard Strayer and 2 piece Gladiator’s Finale.

If you’re planning on a burst DPS Aloy, it’s going to be 2 piece Blizzard Strayer and 2 piece Noblesse Oblige.

For the main stats of the artifact, you can never go wrong with ATK Sands, Cryo DMG% Goblet, and Crit Rate/Crit Damage Circlet depending on your crit rate.

Blizzard Strayer

Blizzard Strayer

  • 2-piece effect: Cryo DMG Bonus +15%
  • 4-piece effect: When a character attacks an enemy affected by Cryo, their CRIT Rate is increased by 20%. If the enemy is Frozen, CRIT Rate is increased by an additional 20%.
Noblesse Oblige

Noblesse Oblige

  • 2-piece effect: Elemental Burst DMG +20%
  • 4-piece effect: Using an Elemental Burst increases all party members’ ATK by 20% for 12s. This effect cannot stack.
Gladiator's Finale

Gladiator's Finale

  • 2-piece effect: ATK +18%
  • 4-piece effect: If the wielder of this artifact set uses a Sword, Claymore or Polearm, increases their Normal Attack DMG by 35%

FAQs about Genshin Impact Barbara

As Aloy is a free 5-star character, it’s only inevitable that some players wish to boost her Constellation. Unfortunately, gamers will only get one copy of Aloy; she won’t be available in Wishes.

Aloy is mostly a sub-DPS character with some potential as a main DPS depending on your party needs and what platform you’re playing on. She’s a five-star character, but Aloy is closer to a buffed-up Diona than a new Ganyu, with a low base attack of 18 and good defense (thanks Honey Hunter).

Not right now.

Aloy is a new playable character in Genshin Impact. However, she is missing Constellations, an important aspect of character advancement.

The release of Genshin Impact 2.1 on September 1 brought the character Aloy from Horizon Forbidden West to a special crossover event in the game for PlayStation users.

Aloy was firstly released on the PlayStation platform.

Now, Aloy becomes free to all players, even PC, and mobile, after November 24. So in short, she’s PS exclusive for a month and a half but is not a part of the gacha system.

As the game is not available on Nintendo Switch, Xbox, or Steam, players who own these consoles might need to wait for a few months or even years.

No, there isn’t a Genshin Impact Aloy banner. Because she is free for everyone to claim. That makes her the first new character (except the Traveler, of course) to not feature in a banner.

The age of Aloy in Genshin Impact is not clear. The miHoYo does not give the birth year for all characters.

Instead, birthdays are given so that you’ll get a special gift on the character’s birthday.

Aloy is one of the playable female characters.

Aloy is a Cryo bow-user and the first collaborative character to be added in Genshin Impact. She does have a constellation to beef up her stats, but since there’s no multiple of her, it remains locked.
