Xiangling is a 4-star character that can be obtained for free in the Spiral Abyss. Aside from that, she’s a character that receives decent amounts of rate-ups from character banners.
Players can get a free copy of Xiangling by simply completing Floor 3, Chamber 3 of the Spiral Abyss! Players do not need to full 3 stars the chamber, so going in without a fully ascended level 90 character is not needed.
The Spiral Abyss can be unlocked once the player reaches Adventure Rank 20!
Xiangling is available at a normal rate on all Standard Wish Banners except Beginner’s Wish. This means you can get her from Wanderlust Invocation, Epitome Invocation, and the current Character Event Wish.
As a 4-star character, Xiangling has a chance to appear in the Starglitter Exchange every month. She can be traded for 34 Masterless Starglitter.

Performs up to five consecutive spear strikes.
Charged Attack
Consumes a certain amount of Stamina to lunge forward, dealing damage to opponents along the way.
Plunging Attack
Plunges from mid-air to strike the ground below, damaging opponents along the path and dealing AoE DMG upon impact.
Summons Guoba the Panda. Guoba continuously breathes fire at opponents, dealing AoE Pyro DMG.
Displaying her mastery over both fire and polearms, Xiangling sends a Pyronado whirling around her. The Pyronado will move with your character for the ability’s duration, dealing Pyro DMG to all opponents in its path.
Increases the flame range of Guoba by 20%.
When Guoba Attack’s effects end, Guoba leaves a chili pepper on the spot where it disappeared. Picking up a chili pepper increases ATK by 10% for 10s.
When Perfect Cooking is achieved on an ATK-boosting dish, Xiangling has a 12% chance to receive double the product.
Opponents hit by Guoba’s attacks have their Pyro RES reduced by 15% for 6s.
The last attack in a Normal Attack sequence applies the Implode status onto the opponent for 2s. An explosion will occur once this duration ends, dealing 75% of Xiangling’s ATK as AoE Pyro DMG.
Increases the Level of Pyronado by 3.
Maximum upgrade level is 15.
Pyronado’s duration is increased by 40%.
Increases the Level of Guoba Attack by 3.
Maximum upgrade level is 15.
For the duration of Pyronado, all party members receive a 15% Pyro DMG Bonus.

– Xiangling will act as a DPS dealing Pyro or Physical Attacks to enemies.
– With Bennett, her attacks will be further boosted with resonance and buff from Burst.
– Rosaria will spread Cryo enabling Pyro Xiangling to deal Melt DMG.
– Sucrose will gather enemies and buff the team for faster clearing of enemies.
Building Xiangling in Genshin Impact is pretty straightforward. The vast majority of her damage comes from her elemental burst. This elemental burst is an excellent way of triggering vaporize and melt, making Elemental Mastery an important stat for Xiangling.
Any of these weapons will work with Xiangling. If you have another 5-star weapon aside from Staff of Homa, it’s also a good choice before delving into the 4-star weapon territory.
HP increased by 20%. Additionally, provides an ATK Bonus based on 0.8% of the wielder’s Max HP. When the wielder’s HP is less than 50%, this ATK bonus is increased by an additional 1% of Max HP.
Increases DMG against opponents affected by Hydro or Pyro by 20%.
If there are at least 2 opponents nearby, ATK is increased by 16% and DEF is increased by 16%. If there are fewer than 2 opponents nearby, ATK is increased by 24%.
Xiangling’s best artifacts depend on what kind of team composition she’s in. If you’re using her in a team composition that revolves heavily around Vaporize and Melt, go for the 4-piece Crimson Witch of Flames.
If you want her to deal good damage on her own, 4-piece Emblem of Severed Fate is on the table. However, keep in mind that she should have high energy recharge for this to outperform the Crimson Witch of Flames.
Xiangling has a little bit of an Energy problem, so pumping energy recharge on her is not a bad idea if you feel like she’s not performing up to par.
Noblesse Oblige is a very niche pick, only use this if she’s a filler and there’s nobody using the 4-piece Noblesse buff.
For main stats, lookout for Energy Recharge/Elemental Mastery Sands, Pyro DMG% Goblet, Crit Rate/Crit Damage Circlet depending on your Crit Rate.
It’s easy to get Xiangling in the game. You just need to complete the event. All players will need to finish Floor 3, Chamber 3 of the Spiral Abyss, and then unlock her via the event menu.
There is no star requirement for the event. Just completing the floor will be enough and a 3-star finish is not a pre-requisite for obtaining her.

The rarity of Xianging in the game is just 4-star, meaning not rare to get it if you’re going to buy it in Genshin Impact.

Xiangling is a powerhouse of a sub DPS. She’s considered one of the best 4-star sub DPS right now due to the fact that her elemental burst deals a lot of damage from elemental reactions.
Her constellations from C1 to C6 are good enough to boost attacks.
The best team comp to work with Xiangling includes Bennett, Rosaria, and Sucrose.
The Staff of Homa is the 5-star best weapon for Xiangling to increase HP by 20% and boost ATK attacks.
Other most recommended weapon options include Dragon’s Bane and Deathmatch. Both are 4-star weapons.
The best Genshin Impact Xiangling artifacts depend on the team composition. The most common best options include Crimson Witch of Flames, Emblem of Severed Fate, and Noblesse Oblige.
All are 5-star artifacts good to boost DMG, Energy, and Elemental Burst.
